Inauguration Ceremony Marks New Era for Noida International Airport

The Noida International Airport in Jewar celebrated its inauguration on June 11, 2026, with a ceremonial worship event attended by officials and dignitaries. MLA Dhirendra Singh highlighted the airport's role in boosting Uttar Pradesh's development and global recognition. The airport is set to commence flight services on June 15, 2026, enhancing connectivity and creating job opportunities. The event showcased various facilities and operational preparations, marking a significant milestone for the region's economic growth.
 

Ceremony Celebrates New Beginnings at Noida Airport

On June 11, 2026, a ceremonial worship event was held at the Noida International Airport site in Jewar, marking the commencement of a new chapter for the airport. The event took place in the Terminal Forecourt Area (East Side) and was attended by officials, staff, and distinguished guests who gathered to pray for the progress, prosperity, and successful operation of the airport.




During the event, Jewar MLA Dhirendra Singh remarked, "The Noida International Airport is not just an airport; it symbolizes the development, investment, employment, and global recognition of Uttar Pradesh. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the state is continuously setting new benchmarks for growth, and the Jewar area is establishing its identity on the world stage."




He further emphasized the importance of starting auspicious endeavors with prayers and Vedic traditions, stating, "In Indian culture, it is customary to begin every auspicious task with worship and rituals. This new phase of the airport has been initiated amidst positive energy, a spiritual atmosphere, and good wishes." Singh expressed confidence that the airport would create numerous job opportunities for the youth and accelerate trade, tourism, and industrial development.




In conclusion, Singh announced that flight services from Noida International Airport would commence on June 15, 2026, marking a historic achievement for Uttar Pradesh. The airport's operation is expected to enhance connectivity at both national and international levels, positioning the Jewar area as one of the country's key economic and industrial hubs. He also inspected various facilities and operational preparations at the airport, including check-in counters, ticket and airline assistance booths, immigration counters, security checks, customs, information centers, baggage assistance, medical and emergency services, taxi and transport assistance, VIP lounge facilities, police assistance booths, fire and emergency units, and digital information and grievance redressal centers.




Present at the event were key officials including Noida Airport's nodal officer Shailendra Kumar Bhatia, Vice Chairman Christophe, CEO Neetu Samra, COO Kiran Jain, ORAT Head Jan Vicky, Head ARFF Vinod Kumar, Abhishek Nath, Bharti Kalappa, Parvind Kumar Saroj, Surbhi Rana, Dinesh Jamwal, and Tata Project Director Unni Krishna, among others.
