The Sreenidhi University TG20, organized by the Hyderabad Cricket Association, commenced with an impressive opening ceremony on Sunday evening at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium. The event was a vibrant celebration marking the start of Telangana's premier T20 cricket competition, featuring prominent figures from both cricket and entertainment, as detailed in a press release.
A Night of Celebration and Cricket
The grand ceremony officially launched Telangana's T20 league, with Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka serving as the Chief Guest. Notable attendees included Telangana's Director General of Police C V Anand, BCCI Apex Council Member V Chamundeswaranath, HCA Secretary M Jeevan Reddy, Treasurer Anil Kumar, Joint Secretary Basava Raju, and Governing Council Chairman V Agam Rao, along with Brand Ambassador Vijay Deverakonda.
The event also featured former Indian cricketer and Head of Cricket Operations for Sreenidhi University TG20, Ambati Rayudu, and international player Mohammed Siraj. The evening was filled with cricket, entertainment, and celebration, with music by Thaman S enhancing the festive spirit, as fans cheered throughout the program.

During the event, Vijay Deverakonda addressed the young cricketers and fans, expressing his hopes for the tournament to nurture future stars from Telangana. He stated, "With this league, I'm hoping we get more superstars from Telangana.
