Students preparing for the upcoming examinations conducted by the Himachal Pradesh School Education Board, specifically for the (+2 State Open School, Science stream), are urged to be extremely vigilant. The Board's Chairman, Dr. Rajesh Sharma, has emphasized that only answers marked on the OMR sheet will be evaluated for multiple-choice questions (MCQs).

Any responses written in the main answer booklet, even if accidental, will not be graded, leading to a zero score for those items. The onus of such mistakes lies solely with the student.

To facilitate a smooth examination process, the Board has implemented stricter oversight regarding the distribution of question papers, particularly for the +2 SOS Direct Science examinations. Center superintendents and their deputies are required to thoroughly understand and enforce the distribution protocols to avoid any confusion during the exams.

Moreover, it is essential for exam personnel to clearly announce and explain these guidelines to students prior to the commencement of the test. The Board has noted that under the stress of exams, students may inadvertently mark answers incorrectly, which can lead to wasted efforts. Therefore, providing advance notifications is deemed a critical responsibility of the staff to ensure clarity and accurate assessment.
