How PM Modi's 'Mera Yuva Bharat' is Empowering India's Youth for Nation-Building

Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently highlighted the significance of engaging India's youth in nation-building through initiatives like Mera Yuva Bharat. During his Mann Ki Baat radio program, he discussed how this initiative connects young people with constructive activities and policymaking processes. With millions participating in programs like the 'Budget Quest,' the Prime Minister praised the innovative ideas shared by youth across the country, focusing on topics such as farmer welfare, women's development, and environmental sustainability. Empowering the Youth for a Stronger Nation


New Delhi: On Sunday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi emphasized the vital role of the youth in shaping the future of the nation, highlighting initiatives like Mera Yuva Bharat as essential for tapping into their potential.


During the 132nd episode of his monthly radio show, Mann Ki Baat, he remarked, “India stands as the youngest nation globally. When the energy of our youth is directed towards nation-building, it yields tremendous benefits. Mera Yuva Bharat, or My Bharat Sanghathan, is pivotal in this endeavor.”


He pointed out that this initiative actively engages young individuals nationwide in constructive and nation-focused activities.


“This organization is linking the youth with numerous positive initiatives,” he stated.


PM Modi also shared recent activities, mentioning that Mera Yuva Bharat had conducted a 'Budget Quest' to involve youth in the Union Budget process and policymaking.


Approximately 1.2 million young participants from across the country engaged in the quiz, with around 160,000 advancing to an essay competition.


“I had the opportunity to read several of these essays, which reflects the enthusiasm of my young friends to contribute to the nation's advancement,” he noted.


He cited examples of participants like Kotla Raghuveer Reddy from Suryapet, Telangana, Saurabh Baiswar from Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh, and Sumit Kumar from Gopalganj, Bihar, who focused on farmer welfare topics.


Additionally, he acknowledged contributions from Aanchal in Mohali, Punjab, and Om Prakash Rath from Kendrapara, Odisha, who proposed ideas for promoting women-led development.


Pratham Barar from Yamunanagar, Haryana, wrote about the significance of a clean and green India as a route to prosperity, while Shankh Gupta from Delhi suggested enhancing efforts to discover sports talent in rural regions.


“Our young friends have also shared their thoughts on skill development and improving the business environment. I applaud all the youth who are voicing their ideas. These contributions are vital for the nation's progress,” the Prime Minister concluded.
