This victory marks India's inaugural medal in rowing and the 14th overall medal for the nation at the ongoing Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya. The gold medal was claimed by China's Yi Xudi and Nie Yide with a time of 6:09.77, while Uzbekistan's Pavel Sorin and Mekhrojbek Mamatkulov took home the silver with a time of 6:10.49.

Challenges Faced by the Rowers
