Renowned singer from Himachal Pradesh, Nitish Rajput, has been awarded a Certificate of Appreciation by the President of India and Chairperson of the Indian Red Cross Society, Smt. Droupadi Murmu.


Rajput, celebrated for his emotive musical performances, previously contributed ₹50,000 from his concert proceeds during the Sujanpur Holi Festival (2024–25) to the Red Cross Society in Hamirpur, aimed at aiding those in need. His philanthropic gesture initially earned him recognition from the Governor of Himachal Pradesh.


In light of his remarkable and ongoing contributions to the Red Cross Society, President Murmu has honored him with this distinguished accolade, further enhancing his status as a compassionate artist and humanitarian.
