Himachal Pradesh Directs Schools to Celebrate Independence Day with Patriotism

The Directorate of Higher Education in Himachal Pradesh has mandated that all government schools remain open on August 15 to celebrate Independence Day. This directive emphasizes the importance of participating in official ceremonies with a spirit of patriotism and discipline. Schools are instructed to ensure that students and staff engage in the celebrations at various administrative levels, reinforcing the significance of national festivals in educational institutions. This initiative aims to foster a sense of national pride among students and staff alike.
 

Independence Day Celebrations in Himachal Pradesh Schools

The Directorate of Higher Education in Himachal Pradesh has issued a directive mandating all government schools across the state to remain open on August 15 and celebrate Independence Day with full respect and patriotic fervor. An official notice from Shimla instructed the sub-directors of school education (secondary and primary) and principals of Government Senior Secondary Schools (GSSS) to ensure strict adherence to these guidelines.


According to the order, all government schools will be operational on Independence Day, with students and teaching staff participating in official celebrations held at tehsil, sub-divisional, and district headquarters. The Directorate has urged district education officers and school heads to disseminate necessary instructions to all institutions under their jurisdiction and ensure that the celebrations are conducted in accordance with government directives.


The issued order emphasizes that national festivals should be celebrated with enthusiasm and discipline in all government educational institutions in Himachal Pradesh.
