Himachal Pradesh Board to Announce Class 12 Results for 2025

The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education is preparing to announce the Class 12 board examination results for the 2024-25 academic year on May 17, 2025. This year, the order of results announcement has reversed from the previous year, with Class 12 results coming after Class 10. Announcement of Class 12 Results

Dharamshala: The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) is set to release the results for the Class 12 board examinations for the academic year 2024-25 around noon on Saturday, May 17, 2025. Students can access their results on the official HPBOSE website and other authorized platforms.

HPBOSE Secretary Dr. (Major) Vishal Sharma confirmed that the board is ready to publish the results today, stating, “The compilation and verification process has been finalized. Students will be able to check their results online shortly.”

The Class 10 results were announced just two days prior, on May 15, showcasing a notable increase in the pass percentage, particularly among female students. Unlike last year, when Class 12 results were released before Class 10, this year the sequence has been reversed.

Completion of Class 12 Exams

The Class 12 examinations took place throughout Himachal Pradesh from early March and concluded on March 28, 2025. More than 85,000 students participated in the exams, which were conducted at numerous centers, including remote locations such as Lahaul-Spiti and Pangi.

Officials reported that the evaluation for Class 12 was completed by May 8, with the board dedicating the following days to compiling and verifying marks, merit lists, and compartment data.

Preparation for Result Checking

Students are encouraged to have their roll numbers ready to facilitate quick access to their results. In addition to the HPBOSE website, results may also be available on third-party platforms, depending on their accessibility.

Performance Trends from 2024

In the previous year, HPBOSE announced the Class 12 results on April 29, 2024, with 63,092 out of 85,777 students passing. Girls excelled in all streams, maintaining a consistent trend of academic success.
