Himachal Pradesh Board Shifts Exam Centre for Smooth Conduct

The Himachal Pradesh School Education Board has suspended the examination centre at Tiny Tots Playway School in Chamba, relocating students to Government Boys Senior Secondary School. This decision, made on the recommendation of the Deputy Commissioner, aims to ensure a smooth examination process. All necessary arrangements for the transfer of students and materials must be completed by March 9, 2026. The Principal of the new centre is tasked with coordinating facilities for the students to maintain an orderly examination environment.

The Himachal Pradesh School Education Board (HPBOSE) has announced the immediate suspension of the examination centre located at Tiny Tots Playway School, Mohalla Surara, Chamba. This decision follows a recommendation from the Deputy Commissioner of Chamba and was confirmed by Board Chairman Dr. Rajesh Sharma.


Students Relocated to New Centre

Dr. Sharma has instructed that all students scheduled to take exams at this centre be relocated to the Government Boys Senior Secondary School (GBSSS), Chamba for the remainder of the board examinations. This action is intended to facilitate a seamless examination process without interruptions.


The Board has tasked the District Manager of Chamba and JOA (IT) BDICC, HPBOSE with ensuring that all students, examination records, and necessary materials are transferred to the new location by March 9, 2026. A compliance report is required to be submitted promptly to the Examination Conduct-II branch.


Coordination for Smooth Transition

Furthermore, the Principal of GBSSS Chamba has been directed to collaborate with board officials to ensure that all essential facilities are available for the students being transferred, thereby guaranteeing that the remaining examinations are held in an organized and effective manner.
