Hezbollah Claims Responsibility for 43 Military Operations Against Israel
Hezbollah's Military Actions
According to reports from Iranian state media, Hezbollah has taken responsibility for 43 military operations targeting Israeli positions and military installations. The group stated that these attacks were in response to alleged violations of the ceasefire and ongoing Israeli military activities in Lebanon.
The operations reportedly targeted Israeli military bases near the border as well as areas within the occupied territories, including the Golan Heights in Syria and northern Israel.
Among these attacks was a drone strike on a communication facility at the Al-Aliqa barracks in the Golan Heights, which Hezbollah claimed was a direct target. The group also took responsibility for a drone attack on an Israeli Merkava tank near a hospital in Ma'sal al-Jabal, Lebanon. According to the media, Hezbollah coordinated drone strikes on Israeli troop concentrations in areas such as Al-Bayyadah, Yaroun, and Kafr Yuval, and launched rockets targeting Kiryat Shmona, Nahariya, and the headquarters of Israel's 146th Division.
Hezbollah also claimed responsibility for shelling newly established Israeli positions in southern Lebanon and attacking various military sites, including surveillance and command facilities near Meron Air Base and Filon Base close to Rosh Pina.
The operations reportedly continued from early Sunday morning until late at night, targeting troop movements and military concentrations in several border towns, including Khiyam, Bint Jbeil, Taybeh, and Aita al-Shab.
Hezbollah described these attacks as a duty to protect Lebanon and its people, accusing Israel of repeatedly violating ceasefire agreements.
The group warned that if Israeli-American aggression against Lebanon persists, their operations will continue. In a statement quoted by the media, Hezbollah affirmed its commitment to defending its country and people, stating that these attacks aim to reduce the ongoing military tensions instigated by Israel. According to the Lebanese Ministry of Health, since the onset of Israeli attacks on March 2, a total of 2,055 people have been killed in Lebanon.
