Heavy Rainfall Expected in Rajasthan Due to New Weather System

Jaipur, July 28 - Several regions in Rajasthan are likely to experience heavy rainfall today and tomorrow due to the influence of a new weather circulation system, as reported by the meteorological department. According to their findings, a circulation pattern has formed over southwestern Rajasthan.
Additionally, due to other monsoon conditions, an increase in rainfall activities is anticipated starting today, particularly in parts of eastern Rajasthan, including Bharatpur, Jaipur, and Kota divisions, with the possibility of heavy rain in certain areas. Furthermore, from July 29, rainfall activities are expected to intensify in additional regions of Kota, Bharatpur, Jaipur, Ajmer, Udaipur, and Bikaner divisions. During this period, heavy to extremely heavy rainfall may occur in the southeastern and eastern parts.
From July 30 to August 2, the monsoon is expected to remain active in various areas of both eastern and western Rajasthan, with predictions of heavy and extremely heavy rainfall in some locations. Meanwhile, light to moderate rainfall has been recorded across many places in the state over the past 24 hours, with significant rainfall noted in Chittorgarh and Sirohi districts.
The highest recorded rainfall was 67.0 millimeters (considered heavy) in Rashmi (Chittorgarh) and Abu Road (Sirohi).
