Paras Public School in Bhawarna hosted a touching event to celebrate Mother’s Day, filling the school grounds with joy, love, and appreciation. The venue was adorned beautifully, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.
The festivities began with the lighting of a ceremonial lamp in front of the Goddess Saraswati idol, performed by Director Mr. Mahesh Chandra Katoch, Principal Mrs. Neelam Rana, and Mr. Dishant Katoch. Teacher Mrs. Rajni Katoch delivered an inspiring speech that honored the significance of mothers.
Students from Kindergarten through Class V showcased a variety of lively dance performances, demonstrating their love and gratitude towards their mothers. A spirited Punjabi Gidda performed by the girls received enthusiastic applause, while Class V student Pranaya shared a touching speech expressing her deep affection for her mother.
To add excitement to the event, activities such as Musical Chairs and a Ramp Walk were highlights of the day. In the Musical Chairs game, Pooja claimed first place, followed by Anshu Sharma and Smiley. During the Ramp Walk, Kalpana took home the first prize, with Anita and Anu securing second and third places, respectively. The Principal awarded prizes to the winners.
In her speech, the Principal expressed heartfelt thanks to all the mothers in attendance, highlighting that a mother serves as the first teacher in every child's life, and it is essential to honor her.
The event was a memorable and inspiring experience for the students, beautifully intertwining emotions, creativity, and respect for motherhood.
