Summer Holidays Declared for Schools in Haryana

The Haryana Education Department has officially announced that all schools in the state will observe summer holidays. The break is scheduled from June 1 to June 30, allowing both students and teachers to enjoy a respite from the heat. Classes are set to resume on July 1, 2025, when regular lessons will recommence. Schools are expected to adhere strictly to these directives.


As the summer heat intensifies in North India, both Haryana and Uttar Pradesh are rolling out their summer vacation plans for 2025. The vacation schedules differ between government and private institutions, with senior students benefiting from additional guidelines and summer camp opportunities.


In Delhi and Uttar Pradesh, summer vacations began on May 11, 2025. Many schools in Uttar Pradesh have already closed for the holidays, while some institutions will start their breaks on May 20 or May 21.


Uttar Pradesh government schools will not hold classes from May 16 to June 15, totaling 26 days off. If all goes as planned, students will return to school on June 16. However, the schedule for private schools will vary slightly, with classes for grades 11 and 12 resuming on June 24, 2025, and other grades starting back on July 1, 2025.
