Gaurav Gadoli Arrested Following Extradition

Gurugram, August 4: The Special Task Force (STF) of Haryana Police has apprehended Gaurav Gadoli, an active member of the Kaushal-Bambiha gang, after his extradition from the United Arab Emirates (UAE). A senior official confirmed this development on Tuesday, noting that this marks the 13th successful extradition facilitated by the Haryana STF since 2026.

According to the STF, Gaurav is the brother-in-law of gangster Kaushal Chaudhary. He played a significant role in orchestrating extortion, criminal conspiracies, and other organized criminal activities while operating from abroad. The official revealed that Gaurav had fled India in 2023.

His extradition was coordinated on Monday through active collaboration with the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), and the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA). Previously, on April 10, another associate of the Kaushal-Bambiha gang, Sahil Chauhan, was extradited from Thailand, facing 16 serious criminal charges. For the past three years, Gaurav had been facilitating 'dabba calls' (extortion calls that leave no trace) for gangster Pawan Shaukeen, executing various criminal activities across Delhi-NCR, Haryana, Punjab, and Rajasthan.

The official also mentioned that Gaurav's sister, Manisha, is the wife of gangster Kaushal Chaudhary, and there are suspicions regarding her active involvement in the gang. Another officer indicated that previous investigations revealed that both Gaurav and Manisha played key roles in recruiting new members and managing the gang's financial network. The STF noted that Gaurav had used a fraudulent passport under the name Sahil Yadav to flee to Dubai from Lucknow Airport on November 30, 2023.

Gaurav faces a total of six charges, including extortion, attempted murder, violations of the Arms Act, and organized crime. Haryana STF IG B. Satish Balan stated that this notorious gangster was declared a fugitive on October 14, 2022, and a lookout circular was issued against him. With the assistance of various central and international agencies, the accused was successfully located, detained, and extradited from Dubai.

Balan emphasized that Gaurav's successful extradition represents another significant achievement in the ongoing fight against organized crime, and such operations will continue in the future.
