Haryana Chief Minister Highlights Youth Empowerment Initiatives

Haryana's Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has reiterated the government's commitment to youth empowerment during the National Youth Festival. He highlighted the various initiatives aimed at youth development and emphasized their crucial role in the nation's progress. The state delegation, representing Haryana at the upcoming National Youth Festival-2026, will participate in multiple competitions. Saini also acknowledged the significance of National Youth Day, celebrating the ideals of Swami Vivekananda, and stressed that the youth's contributions are vital for India to emerge as a global leader.
 

Focus on Youth Development in Haryana

On Saturday, Haryana's Chief Minister, Nayab Singh Saini, emphasized that his administration has consistently prioritized the youth in its policies, implementing various initiatives aimed at their development. Speaking at an inspiring dialogue event with the state delegation participating in the 29th National Youth Festival in Panchkula, he asserted that both the central and state governments have accomplished tasks over the past decade that previous administrations failed to achieve over several decades.


Earlier, the Chief Minister engaged with 64 young participants of the National Youth Festival. This delegation will represent Haryana at the National Youth Festival-2026, scheduled to take place in New Delhi from January 9 to 12. They will compete in a variety of events, including group dance, debates, painting, dialogues with young leaders, social work hacking, and design for a developed India.


Saini noted that National Youth Day is celebrated on the birthday of Swami Vivekananda, who embodied youthfulness not just in age but also in his thoughts and actions. He remarked that the youth of Haryana have always been diligent, disciplined, and patriotic, which is why they are leading in various fields such as the armed forces, sports, education, agriculture, and entrepreneurship.


The Chief Minister also highlighted Prime Minister Narendra Modi's assertion that empowering the youth is crucial for building a strong India, stating that if the nation aims to emerge as a global leader, the youth must play a significant role.
