"We will bat first. The pitch looks excellent for batting, so we decided to set a solid total," Kaur stated during the toss. Kaur also mentioned that they have addressed several areas of improvement and are focused on playing well.


"If we had won the toss, we would have batted first too, as it appears to be a batting-friendly surface," said Pakistan's captain Fatima Sana. She highlighted the strength of their batting unit and the experience of their bowling attack, indicating a competitive match ahead.
