In Dehradun, a gym trainer was apprehended on Wednesday for allegedly sending lewd messages to a student via her mobile phone. The police acted on a complaint filed by the student, leading to the arrest of 31-year-old Nadim Ansari from the Clement Town area.

According to the student's report to the police, she had been visiting the Fit and Fine gym in Clement Town for the past 10 to 15 days, during which the trainer reportedly sent her inappropriate messages on her phone.

The complaint further stated that when the student attempted to confront the trainer with her brothers, he allegedly behaved inappropriately towards them as well. Based on this complaint, the police registered a case against the trainer under sections 75 and 79 of the Indian Penal Code and initiated an investigation. Evidence collected during the inquiry led to Nadim's arrest in the Clement Town area.
