Gurugram Auto-Rickshaw Driver Severely Injured in Fare Dispute; Two Arrested

A shocking incident in Gurugram has left a 19-year-old auto-rickshaw driver critically injured after a dispute over a mere Rs 10 fare escalated into a brutal attack. The assault, which occurred near a petrol pump, has led to the arrest of two suspects, while police continue to search for others involved. In a separate tragic event in Delhi's Karawal Nagar, a mother and her two young daughters were found dead in their home, prompting an investigation by local authorities. Brutal Assault Over a Minor Fare Disagreement

In a disturbing event that unfolded in Gurugram's Ravi Nagar, a 19-year-old auto-rickshaw driver named Vipin was viciously attacked with sticks and stones due to a disagreement over a fare of just Rs 10. This incident, which took place near a petrol station on August 10, 2025, has ignited public outrage, leading to the arrest of two suspects. Authorities are currently on the lookout for additional individuals involved in the assault.


As per police reports, the confrontation erupted on August 10 when Vipin and several passengers engaged in a heated argument regarding the fare. After informing his family about the situation, they rushed to the scene only to find more than six individuals violently assaulting him. When they attempted to intervene, the attackers turned on them as well, threatening them before fleeing the scene.


Vipin was swiftly transported to a nearby hospital where he is receiving medical care. A formal complaint was lodged by the victim's family at the Sector 9A police station, prompting law enforcement to take action. Two suspects, identified as Ram Vishal Dubey from Prayagraj and Laxman from Krishna Colony in Gurugram, were apprehended on Tuesday in connection with the incident.


Tragic Discovery in Karawal Nagar, Delhi

In another tragic occurrence in Delhi's Karawal Nagar, a 28-year-old woman and her two young daughters, aged around seven and five, were discovered deceased in their home. The Delhi Police reported that they received a call regarding the incident at approximately 7:15 AM. Upon their arrival, officers found the bodies in a single room. Crime scene investigators and forensic teams were dispatched to gather evidence, and authorities are actively working to collect further information related to this case. A case has been registered under Section 103(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita at the Karawal Nagar police station.
