Introduction to Junior Titans

The Gujarat Titans are gearing up to unveil the third edition of their prominent grassroots program, Junior Titans, promoting the theme 'Let's Sport Out!' across five cities in Gujarat.

Building on Previous Achievements

This 2026 edition builds upon the success of the past two years, having engaged over 10,000 children from various cities in Gujarat. The franchise is dedicated to fostering physical activity, outdoor play, and a passion for sports among young individuals. Launched in 2024, Junior Titans was designed as a multi-city grassroots initiative aimed at reaching children and communities throughout Gujarat. The inaugural edition included activities in Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat, Rajkot, and Bhuj, culminating in a showcase in Ahmedabad that involved over 5,000 children from more than 100 schools in the under-14 category. The subsequent edition in 2025 expanded to Junagadh, Bhavnagar, Bharuch, Palanpur, and Ahmedabad, once again engaging over 5,000 children from over 100 schools. Each year, the initiative has ventured into new cities, allowing the Gujarat Titans to strengthen their ties with various communities.

Promoting Community Engagement and Values

The upcoming third edition emphasizes meaningful community involvement beyond Ahmedabad, extending the initiative deeper into the state and closer to the communities that the franchise represents. In addition to promoting sports and outdoor activities for children, Junior Titans offers families and local communities a chance to connect with the Gujarat Titans brand and its values. Through a variety of enjoyable and inclusive games and activities, the program instills essential values such as teamwork, perseverance, and resilience, utilizing sports as a vital tool for learning and growth.

Schedule for the Third Edition

The third edition is set to commence on Saturday, January 17, in Surendranagar, hosted at the Cambridge School of Excellence. Following this, the program will travel to a new city each Saturday: Morbi on January 24, Amreli on January 31, and Anand on February 7, before concluding in Ahmedabad on February 14. The initiative aims to unite hundreds of children across these locations, encouraging them to engage in outdoor play and sports from an early age. The format remains non-competitive, focusing on participation, inclusion, and the joy of being active.

The Titans Ethos: More Than Just Sports

Ahead of the launch, Colonel Arvinder Singh, COO of Gujarat Titans, remarked, 'In the previous two editions of Junior Titans, we have witnessed how profoundly sports can connect with children, families, and local communities across Gujarat. This initiative is not centered on competition or outcomes, but rather on participation, joy, and shared experiences; it embodies the Titans ethos beyond the stadium. As we expand Junior Titans to new cities this year, our goal is to inspire children to play outdoors while further enhancing our relationship with communities throughout Gujarat.'

Emphasizing the spirit of 'Let's Sport Out!', Junior Titans remains a fundamental initiative for the Ahmedabad-based franchise, reinforcing its commitment to meaningful community engagement across Gujarat.

Further details regarding the city-specific venues will be announced soon.
