Bomb Threat Disrupts Assembly Proceedings
On Wednesday morning, the Gujarat assembly complex was alerted to a bomb threat via email, just moments before the scheduled start of the House proceedings during the ongoing budget session, according to officials.
The email indicated that an explosive device had been placed within the assembly premises, prompting authorities to evacuate all staff and MLAs, as stated by Deputy Superintendent of Police Piyush Vanda.
Although the assembly was set to commence at 9 am, the threat was reported at 8:45 am, he noted.
