As of 2:58 p.m., the City and County of Broomfield issued an evacuation warning for the Wildgrass neighborhood, located east of Sheridan. This alert encompasses the area stretching from Eagle River Run in the south to Silver Leaf Drive in the north, including sections around 149th Avenue and Kestral to the east.


Officials emphasized that this warning is a precautionary measure. It does not require immediate evacuation but indicates a potential risk. Emergency personnel are actively managing the fire, and residents are encouraged to remain vigilant and stay updated on the situation.
