Virat Kohli, the renowned Indian cricketer, joined fellow athletes in sharing Independence Day wishes, posting a patriotic message on his Instagram Story. He featured a graphic showcasing the Indian tricolor and the Red Fort, accompanied by a message celebrating the occasion.

Abhinav Bindra, an Olympic gold medalist, also shared his thoughts on Independence Day, reflecting on the importance of witnessing the national flag being raised. "I will always remember the moment I saw the tricolor ascend. Bajrang Punia, a bronze medalist from the Tokyo Olympics, also shared his Independence Day wishes, honoring the nation's struggles and the significance of the national flag. "August 15 -- Independence Day. The tricolor is not merely our identity; it symbolizes our struggle, honor, and pride. We have fought for our country, and we will continue to do so. Jai Hind!
