A society can only progress through education—Governor

Jaipur. Governor Hari Bhau Bagde stated that societal advancement is only possible when communities break free from outdated beliefs and embrace education. He emphasized that societies that adapt positively over time are the ones that achieve continuous progress.

During his address at the 44th foundation day celebration of the Khatik community in Jaipur on Sunday, Bagde urged everyone to actively contribute to social harmony, national unity, and the strengthening of cultural heritage. He asserted that the vision of a developed India can only be realized when every segment of society advances with education, employment, innovation, and social responsibility.

The Governor also took the opportunity to honor the talents within the Khatik community. He recalled the contributions of freedom fighter Raghunath Jadhav from Nashik and highlighted the importance of hard work, self-respect, patriotism, and social dedication within the community. He called for the adoption of ideals from saints like Dublanath Maharaj and remembered former Chief Minister and Governor Jagannath Pahadiya, noting that the Indian Constitution conveys messages of equality, justice, freedom, and brotherhood. He reiterated that Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, the architect of the Constitution, regarded education as the most effective means of social change, a message that remains relevant today.
