Gangster Lawrence Bishnoi Transferred to Ultra-Secure Block in Sabarmati Jail
Lawrence Bishnoi's Transfer to High-Security Block
In Ahmedabad, notorious gangster Lawrence Bishnoi has been moved to a highly secure block within the Sabarmati Central Jail. This transfer to an ultra-high-security area comes in response to recent events, including a shooting incident outside actor Tiger Shroff's residence, which is believed to involve Bishnoi's gang.
Bishnoi has been incarcerated in Sabarmati Jail since August 2023 and is now housed in a special cell designated for dangerous inmates, including those convicted for the 2008 Ahmedabad serial blasts.
Known as 'Block 200' or 'Two Hundred Cells', this ultra-secure section is divided into four distinct segments, each capable of holding 50 inmates. The primary goal of this arrangement is to completely prevent any interaction among prisoners and to restrict inter-block movement.
Bishnoi is kept in an isolated cell, and the jail administration hopes that this stringent measure will eliminate his ability to communicate with the outside world, aside from his lawyer and court hearings, thereby significantly reducing the risk of him managing his criminal network from within the prison.
