Gaggal Police Strengthens Anti-Drug Efforts with Local Community Engagement

In Gaggal, the local police have intensified their anti-drug campaign by engaging with the community. A recent meeting with the Nasha Nivaran Committee focused on raising awareness about the dangers of narcotics like chitta. Police officials urged community members to report suspicious activities and pledged to work together towards a drug-free environment. In an effort to bolster the ongoing anti-drug initiative, the Gaggal Police team convened a meeting with members of the local Nasha Nivaran (Drug Prevention) Committee at Gram Panchayat Gaggal. The session was spearheaded by Gaggal SHO Udhamsingh Rajput.


During this gathering, law enforcement officials emphasized the detrimental effects of substances such as chitta and other narcotics, highlighting their adverse consequences on both individuals and the broader community. The police urged committee members to stay alert and report any suspicious activities to them without delay.


The police encouraged the committee to collect intelligence on drug-related incidents in their vicinity and relay this information to the authorities. Committee members expressed their commitment to fully cooperate and assist the police in tackling this pressing issue.


In a collaborative resolution, both the police and panchayat representatives vowed to join forces in their mission to eradicate drug abuse from Gaggal Panchayat. Among those present were Panchayat Pradhan Damini, Deputy Pradhan Ravind Baba, and various other local officials.
