During the Women's T20 Asia Cup match against India on September 7 at the Dubai International Stadium, a Pakistani fan voiced his deep frustration regarding the cricket administration. The team faced a significant defeat, losing by seven wickets after being dismissed for a mere 55 runs in 18.2 overs. This marked one of their lowest scores against their long-time rivals, India, who successfully chased down the target in just 8.4 overs, thanks to captain Harmanpreet Kaur and Deepti Sharma.

Fan's Outrage Goes Viral

As the Pakistan team struggled, a video of an upset supporter began circulating on social media. The fan harshly criticized the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), particularly targeting chief Mohsin Naqvi and chief selector Aaqib Naqvi, for the disappointing turnout at such a crucial match. He pointed out the empty stands at the stadium, contrasting it with the presence of Indian fans.

In his passionate address, the fan exclaimed, "Mr. Aqib Javed, this is a Pakistan vs India match. Look at the crowd. No Pakistani is here. All the fans are in one house. You have abandoned cricket. You have ruined it. No one is coming to watch." He further urged Naqvi to take better care of cricket, expressing his dismay at the lack of support.

PCB Faces Internal Scrutiny

In light of the ongoing turmoil, the PCB has initiated an internal investigation into the conduct of the team during their tour in England. Reports surfaced regarding issues within the dressing room, including the seizure of mobile phones belonging to players Imam-ul-Haq and Mohammad Rizwan after a significant loss to England. Although the PCB has not confirmed these allegations, Amir Mir, an advisor to the PCB chairman, stated that the board is reviewing the situation and urged patience as the inquiry progresses.

With the series already lost, the Pakistan team, led by Babar Azam, is now focused on salvaging their pride in the upcoming match at Edgbaston.
