This same individual is now the owner of a multimillion-dollar company. We are referring to Dilkhush Kumar, the founder of 'Arya Go Cab Service,' who has carved out a unique identity in society through hard work, providing employment to many, and becoming a millionaire himself. Let’s delve into the inspiring journey of Dilkhush Kumar.


Launching His Own Company After Facing Rejection


Dilkhush Kumar hails from a small village called Bangawan in the Saharsa district, where his father worked as a bus driver. He completed only up to the 12th grade. He once interviewed for a peon position in Patna but faced rejection. Despite facing multiple rejections from various places, he persevered.


During this time, he founded 'Roadbez,' a database company that offers taxi services in Bihar. Unlike companies like Ola and Uber, Roadbez caters specifically to those needing to travel more than 50 kilometers. Notably, Roadbez charges for one-way trips only.


In a recent interview, Dilkhush shared, “We bring together all the aggregators, tour and travel operators, and individual taxi drivers in Bihar and inform them to let us know when they have passengers traveling in their direction. This way, they return empty, and we connect them with travelers on their route. This has significantly benefited customers, reducing taxi fares by up to 40%. What used to cost 4000 rupees now ranges from 2200 to 2400 rupees, saving customers at least 1500 rupees on every ride.”


The Inspiration Behind Roadbez


Dilkhush further explained, “My experience has always been in the driving field. I initially started 'Arya Go Cab,' which was doing well in Bihar. However, the idea for Roadbez emerged, leading me to pivot from Arya Go. When I launched Roadbez, I had a second-hand Nano car, which I used to start the company. Within 6 to 7 months, we raised funding at a valuation of 4 crores, and during that time, over 1.25 lakh people visited our platform.”



This figure indicates our rapid growth in Bihar, which holds significant potential, and we are receiving a positive response. We aim to elevate Roadbez to a valuation of 20 crores in the next six months, with a long-term target of reaching 100 crores.” According to Dilkhush, his team comprises individuals educated at IIT and IIM. IIT Mandi invited them for placements, but they hired employees from IIT Guwahati.


Reflecting on Struggles with Emotion



When discussing his struggles, Dilkhush became emotional. He reminisced about his past, stating, “I drove a rickshaw in Delhi and sold vegetables on the streets of Patna. When I went for an interview for a peon position, I was treated as a rural person and was asked to identify the iPhone logo.


I couldn't recognize it because it was my first time seeing an iPhone. Regardless of the reasons, I didn’t get the peon job. However, I didn’t give up because I had responsibilities after getting married. I had to keep doing something.


He continued, “When I couldn’t find a job, I learned to drive from my father, who was a bus driver. Although he didn’t want me to drive, I had no choice but to start driving. When asked why he only studied until the 12th grade, he explained that his father couldn’t afford to support his education further, but he is now very proud of what he has achieved through driving.”
