A three-day complimentary surgical camp utilizing Kshar Sutra therapy is currently being held at BBMB Hospital in Sundernagar. This event is a collaborative effort between the Rotary Club Chhoti Kashi Mandi and the Rotary Club Suket, having commenced on April 14. The camp has attracted a significant number of patients dealing with anorectal issues.

The focus of the camp is on treating conditions such as piles (hemorrhoids) and fissures through the traditional yet minimally invasive Kshar Sutra technique. Organizers report that over 50 patients have been assessed in the initial two days, with seven individuals successfully undergoing surgical procedures.

A skilled team of doctors is providing care at the camp, including Rtn Dr Hem Lata, Rtn Manju Bhardwaj, Rtn Renu Ghulati, and Rtn Sita Ram Bansal. They are offering consultations, diagnoses, and surgical treatments at no cost to the patients.

Members from both Rotary clubs are actively involved in supporting this initiative. From Rotary Club Chhoti Kashi, President Hemlata, Secretary Renu Gulati, along with members Suman Sharma and Akhilesh Bharti, are managing the arrangements. Meanwhile, Rotary Club Suket is represented by President Manju Bhardwaj, Secretary R.L. Chauhan, and members Kanchan Sen, Arti Verma, Sita Ram Bansal, and Neena Sharma, all contributing to the camp's successful operation.

Organizers emphasized that the camp's goal is to offer safe, effective, and non-invasive treatment alternatives, particularly for those who may not afford costly surgical options. The Kshar Sutra method is recognized for its minimal pain, quicker recovery times, and lower risk of complications.

As the camp enters its final day, it continues to attract patients from various areas, highlighting the necessity for such healthcare initiatives and the positive impact of community service.
