Free Dental Check-Up Camp Celebrates World Oral Health Day

In honor of World Oral Health Day, Garg Multispeciality Dental Clinic conducted a free dental check-up camp at Chetna Sanstha, where around 60 children received dental examinations. Led by Dr. Keshav Garg and his team, the initiative aimed to educate children on proper dental care and hygiene. Participants were given free oral hygiene kits and guidance on healthy eating habits. The camp was well-received by the local community, emphasizing the importance of maintaining oral health from a young age.

Community Dental Initiative on World Oral Health Day

Ghumarwin - In celebration of World Oral Health Day, Garg Multispeciality Dental Clinic hosted a complimentary dental check-up and awareness event at Chetna Sanstha. This initiative was organized at the request of Mr. Kashmira and Mr. Anoop Sharma, attracting around 60 children for dental assessments.

The event was spearheaded by Dr. Keshav Garg (MDS Periodontology & Implant Specialist, BDS IGMC Shimla, President of Himachal Pradesh Dental Health Services & Welfare Society), along with Dr. Anjali Sharma and Dr. Abhay Gautam.

Each child received complimentary oral hygiene kits, which included a toothbrush and toothpaste. The dental professionals offered comprehensive advice on effective brushing techniques and general dental care. Dr. Garg recommended that children brush their teeth for 3–5 minutes each day, maintain a balanced diet, and steer clear of unhealthy snacks like chips, packaged foods, and chocolates. He also stressed the importance of staying hydrated.

Dr. Anjali Sharma and Dr. Abhay Gautam underscored the importance of oral hygiene and motivated the children to maintain regular dental cleaning habits.

The camp aimed to enhance children's awareness regarding dental hygiene, healthy eating practices, and oral health, ultimately assisting them in preventing dental issues in the future. The local community and the institution expressed their gratitude for this initiative.
