Major Fraud Discovered During SI Recruitment in Jaipur

In Jaipur, a significant fraud has emerged during the recruitment process for sub-inspectors (SI) in Rajasthan. A female candidate was apprehended while attempting to take the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) using forged documents. Initial investigations revealed that this candidate had previously failed the written examination but allegedly altered her admit card digitally to appear as if she were among the successful candidates, thereby gaining entry to the physical test.

During a routine verification of documents at the recruitment center, officials noticed discrepancies between the candidate's admit card and the recruitment records. Following this, they cross-checked the online records and documents, which confirmed that her name was not listed among those eligible for the physical test. When questioned, she could not provide satisfactory answers, leading to her detention and subsequent handover to the police.

The preliminary investigation also indicated that the admit card had been tampered with, including alterations to the photo and eligibility details. The police are now working to uncover who prepared these documents and whether any organized gang or cyber network is involved. Authorities have also begun examining mobile phones, documents, and other digital evidence.
