A tragic incident unfolded in the Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir, where four Indian Army personnel sustained injuries due to an unexpected grenade explosion during a patrol near the Line of Control (LoC). Reports indicate that this incident occurred in the Naushera sector while soldiers from the Kumaon Regiment were conducting their routine patrol.
During the operation, a multi-mode grenade reportedly detonated accidentally, resulting in injuries to a Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO) and three other soldiers.

According to sources, the explosion took place as the soldiers were traversing a sensitive border area while on regular surveillance and security duty. The sudden blast injured four soldiers, prompting immediate emergency response from fellow troops present at the scene.
