Former Russian Model Reveals Trauma Linked to Jeffrey Epstein
Traumatic Experiences Unveiled
Washington DC: A former Russian model, who was associated with Jeffrey Epstein from 2008 until 2019, has shared her harrowing experiences. In a recent interview with a prominent publication, she disclosed that after Epstein's death, she changed her name and relocated. However, her identity was revealed in documents released by the US Department of Justice on January 30, which included sensitive personal information. The model expressed her frustration over the DOJ's failure to redact her name despite her attempts to report the errors. She claimed that following the document release, she faced harassment from a blogger.
She also mentioned that her Russian background disqualified her from victim protections offered by the DOJ. "I’d rather share this embarrassing story myself and move on, so I can finally close this chapter," she stated. The model was among numerous women exploited by Epstein under the guise of providing assistance. Reflecting on her past, she admitted feeling guilty for not being underage when she first met him, stating, "I kept thinking that I was at fault for putting myself in this situation." In 2019, Epstein was convicted of trafficking minors between 2002 and 2005, a period covered by a previous plea deal. After 2008, he shifted his focus to adult women resembling teenagers, many of whom were European and Russian fashion models.
Reports indicate that these women were coerced into providing massages and engaging in sexual activities. Epstein manipulated their finances and health, often providing loans to their families, further ensnaring them in his operations. These trafficking schemes often resembled pyramid structures, with victims pressured to recruit others.
The former model recounted her introduction to Epstein in 2008 by Daniel Siad, a modeling scout who promised to arrange a Victoria’s Secret audition. Epstein facilitated her visa process in the US, leveraging his connections, including former Russian minister Sergei Belyakov, to assist her. When approached for comment, Belyakov claimed ignorance regarding the letter. Epstein reportedly took compromising photographs of her and demanded updates about her interactions with other men, later dismissing her when promised job opportunities failed to materialize.
In emails released by the DOJ, Epstein questioned her for posting photos on social media and found her suggesting other women to him, forwarding their modeling profiles. "I feel ashamed and constantly think about those other women," she confessed.
"I was bullied and controlled for over a decade by Jeffrey Epstein," she revealed. Following the release of the Epstein files, various social media claims have labeled her as a Russian spy. Other Russian women have also come forward with similar experiences, with allegations stemming from an interview with the model's father, who had ties to the Russian armed forces until 1996. The Epstein files consist of a partially released collection of millions of documents, images, videos, and emails that detail Epstein's activities.
