Fire Breaks Out in Multi-Story Building in Ranchi, No Casualties Reported

A fire broke out in a multi-story residential building in Ranchi, Jharkhand, on Friday morning. Fortunately, there were no injuries reported, although some household items were damaged. Firefighters responded promptly, managing to control the blaze within an hour. The fire originated from a flat on the 11th floor, and while the exact cause is still under investigation, a gas leak is suspected. Fire Incident in Ranchi

On Friday morning, a fire erupted in a multi-story residential building located in Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand. According to officials, there were no reports of injuries, although some household items were damaged.


Jitendra Tiwari, who oversees the state fire service, informed a news agency that seven fire engines were dispatched to the scene, and after approximately an hour of effort, the blaze was brought under control.


He mentioned that the fire originated from a flat on the 11th floor of the apartment building. The fire department received notification around 7:30 AM. Tiwari also noted that the exact cause of the fire is still under investigation, but there are suspicions that it may have been triggered by a gas leak from the kitchen.
