Another Fire Incident in Delhi
In a separate incident on June 24, a severe fire broke out in a slum near the Industry Bhawan area of the capital, prompting immediate action from the Delhi Fire Service. Officials reported that around 20 firefighting units were dispatched to tackle the blaze.
Fire officer Sandeep Duggal mentioned that the affected area is close to the Army Building and serves as temporary housing for laborers.
He explained, "This area is near the Army Building and consists of temporary structures for laborers. Their camp is set up here. Small LPG cylinders are being used, and electrical wires are spread inside, making it difficult to pinpoint the exact cause of the fire, but one of these factors could be responsible. Approximately 25 vehicles were involved in the firefighting efforts, which took about three hours to control."
Early Monday morning, another fire was reported in a meter board in the Keshav Puram area, prompting immediate action from the Delhi Fire Service.
