Fire Incident in Narela Industrial Area
A fire erupted at a footwear manufacturing facility located in the Narela industrial area of Delhi, prompting the dispatch of 14 fire engines to the scene. This information was confirmed by an official from the Delhi Fire Service on Monday.
The official reported that the blaze was first reported at 10:58 PM on Sunday, originating from a factory near Harish Chander Road in the Narela industrial zone. The fire engulfed machinery, shoe boxes, and finished footwear stored inside the facility.
The building, covering an area of approximately 150 square yards, consisted of a basement, ground floor, and two upper levels. The official stated, “Fourteen fire engines were deployed to the site, and the fire was brought under control by around 2:30 AM on Sunday.”
Fortunately, there were no reports of injuries resulting from the incident. The cause of the fire remains undetermined at this time.
