Bihar's Chief Minister Kanya Suraksha Yojana
This government scheme provides ₹2,000 immediately upon the birth of a daughter. The amount is deposited into a bank account opened in the child's name. When the daughter turns 18, she can access the total amount. If she passes away before reaching 18, the funds revert to the Women Development Corporation.
Chief Minister Rajshri Yojana for Daughters
This scheme is designed for young girls, providing financial assistance from the government. Upon the birth of a daughter, families receive ₹2,500 immediately, followed by another ₹2,500 after one year to ease the burden of upbringing. Furthermore, additional financial support is provided at various stages of the child's education and life.
Uttar Pradesh's Bhagya Laxmi Yojana
The Uttar Pradesh government has launched a beneficial scheme for daughters. Under this initiative, families receive a bond worth ₹50,000 upon the birth of a daughter. The full amount is payable upon the daughter reaching 21 years of age, provided the parents meet certain necessary conditions.
