Speaking to reporters in Budgam, Abdullah remarked, "The decision made by the people is clear; what can I do about it? New governments have emerged; may Allah grant them the ability to work for the welfare of the public."

Call for Inclusive Development

Abdullah further emphasized that the nation belongs to all its citizens and highlighted the need for inclusive development. He stated, "This country is ours collectively; we must take care of it and ensure that everyone progresses." Political Landscape in Kerala and Tamil Nadu

In Kerala, the Congress-led United Democratic Front emerged victorious, while actor-turned-politician Vijay's party, 'Tamilga Vetri Kazhagam,' claimed success in Tamil Nadu. Abdullah remarked that the newly formed governments should focus on the progress of all citizens. When asked about his thoughts on the election results, he reiterated, "What can my response be? The people's decision is before you. What can I do about it?" The former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir concluded by urging the new governments to remember that this country belongs to everyone, regardless of religion or language, and that they should ensure progress for all.
