Farooq Abdullah Criticizes Targeting of Kashmiris, Compares to Hitler's Regime

Farooq Abdullah, president of the National Conference, has raised alarms about the targeting of Kashmiris, likening the perpetrators to Hitler. He expressed optimism that such extremist elements will eventually diminish. Abdullah also prayed for peace and friendship with neighboring nations as the new year begins, hoping for rain and snowfall to ease hardships. His comments highlight ongoing concerns regarding the safety and well-being of Kashmiris amidst rising tensions.
 

Concerns Over Targeting of Kashmiris

Farooq Abdullah, the president of the National Conference, expressed serious concerns on Thursday regarding the targeting of Kashmiris in certain regions of the country, stating that those responsible are following a path reminiscent of Hitler. He expressed hope that such extremist elements would eventually fade away over time.


In response to questions about the attacks on Kashmiris, Abdullah told reporters, "Hitler met his end; he took his own life. The Nazi regime was dismantled, and similarly, there will come a time when these extremist factions will also be eradicated."


The former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir also took the opportunity to pray for peace and friendship with neighboring countries as the new year begins. He remarked, "With the new year upon us, I pray for rain and snowfall to alleviate our hardships. I hope for lasting peace in our country and for friendship with our neighboring nations, so we can overcome these challenges together."
