Farmers' Role in National Development Highlighted by BJP President Nitin Nabin

During a recent conference in Ranchi, Nitin Nabin, the national president of the Bharatiya Janata Party, underscored the crucial role of farmers in the nation's development. He stated that farmers significantly contribute to the country's progress. Addressing an intellectual gathering, Nabin highlighted the connection between farmers' welfare and national stability, reaffirming the government's commitment to the prosperity of the agricultural community. He acknowledged that the greatest contribution to the nation and its advancement comes from farmers, noting that a happy farmer leads to prosperity and harmony at home. He emphasized that the government has a clear plan for farmers and aims to empower them beyond mere beneficiaries.

 

Expounding on the government's approach, Nabin explained that listening to farmers through regular dialogue is a priority in their strategy. He mentioned that they engage with farmers regarding their welfare, agricultural roadmaps, doubling their income, and addressing farming-related issues. He also referred to the renaming of the agriculture department to the Department of Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare under Prime Minister Modi's leadership, emphasizing the focus on farmer welfare.

 

This address came during Nabin's two-day organizational tour in Jharkhand, aimed at strengthening the party's structure and enhancing public outreach across the state. Upon arriving at Ranchi Airport, he chaired a meeting with BJP MPs and MLAs at the state party office, where he received a warm floral welcome.

 

On the second day of his tour, Nabin is set to travel from Ranchi to Bokaro Steel City. There, he will visit the residence of BJP worker Pritam Sinha to engage with local party members and leaders. Following this, he will head to the residence of the state BJP president Aditya Sahu in Kuchu, Ormanjhi. Nabin will then preside over a significant joint meeting with district in-charges, district presidents, and representatives from the state media, social media, and IT cells at the state BJP office in Ranchi. He will also review organizational activities with state BJP officials.
