In a shocking incident on Friday morning, an unidentified assailant shot a farmer in Gargpur village, located in the Badousa police station area of Banda district. The injured farmer has been transported to Lucknow in critical condition for urgent medical attention.

According to a police official from Badousa station, around 5:30 AM, the assailant targeted 55-year-old Raja Bhaiya Garg, shooting him in the abdomen. His family rushed him to Lucknow due to the severity of his injuries.

Reports indicate that the farmer was on his way to the animal shed from his residence when the attack occurred. Authorities are currently searching for the assailants, and the motive behind this violent act remains unclear.
