Details from the Victim's Account
According to the woman's complaint, on July 12, her family of eight visited Bhavali Dam, where two individuals allegedly made lewd comments and harassed them. When she confronted them, an argument ensued. The family had gone to the dam on July 12, and during their visit, two men in their twenties made inappropriate remarks towards her. After she scolded them, a confrontation began. When her husband and brother-in-law arrived, they confronted the harassers, who then left the scene. Shortly after, eight to ten individuals from their village approached and began arguing with them, leading to verbal abuse and physical altercations. Following this, they decided to leave for Nashik. While en route, another vehicle blocked their path, and several individuals armed with rods began to chase them. They were attacked whenever their vehicle stopped, with the pursuit lasting at least 25 to 30 kilometers. They proceeded directly to Nashik to file an FIR.
