The agency noted that air defense systems in this southern Iranian city were briefly activated following the blasts. Local sources indicated that the explosions were heard around 1:30 AM local time, although the precise origin and location of the blasts remain unclear, with authorities currently investigating the matter.

This incident occurs against a backdrop of escalating tensions in the region, particularly following recent US military strikes and increased military maneuvers near Iran’s southern coastline.
