The knockout phase of the 6th Hockey India Senior Men Inter-Department National Championship 2026 commenced with all four Quarter-Finals concluded, highlighted by a thrilling shootout between the All India Police Sports Control Board and the Food Corporation of India. In the first Quarter-Final, the Petroleum Sports Promotion Board narrowly defeated the Sports Authority of India with a score of 3-2. Key players for PSPB included Gurjot Singh, Manpreet, and Varun Kumar, while Sachin Dungdung scored twice for SAI despite the loss, according to a press release from Hockey India.

In the second Quarter-Final, the Railway Sports Promotion Board secured a 2-0 victory over the Central Board of Direct Taxes, with goals from Singh Gursahibjit and Simranjot Singh coming either side of halftime.

The third Quarter-Final featured a high-scoring match where the Comptroller & Auditor General of India triumphed over Punjab National Bank with a score of 4-3.
