Results Announced for Teacher Education Programs

Bhubaneswar: On Friday, the Higher Education Department revealed the results for the entrance exams aimed at securing admission into the two-year BEd, MEd, and BHEd programs for the academic year 2026-27.

Candidates who participated in these exams can access their provisional results by visiting the SAMS portal. The admissions will take place in 31 teacher education institutions managed by the Higher Education Department throughout the state. There are a total of 2,450 seats allocated for the BEd program, 300 for the MEd program, and 50 for the BHEd program.

The BEd entrance exam saw a remarkable turnout, with 109,873 candidates applying and 98,170 actually taking the test. In the case of the MEd program, 1,788 candidates registered, with 1,318 appearing for the examination.

Likewise, for the BHEd entrance exam, 1,879 candidates signed up, and 1,542 candidates participated in the test.
