Day Four Highlights

On the fourth day of the 16th Hockey India Sub Junior Women National Championship 2026, held in Ranchi, Jharkhand, Le Puducherry Hockey and Kerala Hockey emerged victorious in Division 'C'. Meanwhile, Hockey Himachal, Hockey Unit of Tamil Nadu, and Delhi Hockey claimed wins in Division 'B' on Saturday.


Division 'C' Match Results

In the first match of Division 'C', Le Puducherry Hockey showcased an impressive performance, defeating Hockey Rajasthan with a staggering score of 10-0 in Pool B. The goals were scored by Gnaneswari Giraka (2', 25', 28', 48'), Chanchal (26', 54', 55'), Haridharshini (18'), Tharini S (30'), and Captain Kanagasri (47').


In another Pool A match of Division 'C', Kerala Hockey triumphed over Telangana Hockey, finishing the game at 4-1. The goals for Kerala were netted by Parameswari Pinapothula (6', 10'), Niranjana Pradeep (20'), and Captain Reshma Samad (48'), while Anandi Mahanand (20') scored the only goal for Telangana.


Goans Hockey and Hockey Jammu and Kashmir topped the standings in Pool A and B, respectively, concluding the Division 'C' matches.


Division 'B' Match Results

In Division 'B', Pool B, a thrilling match between Hockey Chandigarh and Hockey Uttarakhand ended in a 2-2 draw. Annu (27', 37') scored twice for Hockey Chandigarh, while Captain Minakshi (49') and Gungun Katariya (60') found the net for Hockey Uttarakhand.


Hockey Himachal secured a 3-1 victory against Hockey Karnataka in another Pool B match, with goals from Shanvi Sharma (20', 33') and Arushi (7'). Saraswathy H Y (39') scored the only goal for Hockey Karnataka.


Hockey Unit of Tamil Nadu dominated their Pool A match against Assam Hockey, winning 5-1. Jonishadefny MJ (17', 42', 55') achieved a hat-trick, while Captain Kanishka S.S (24') and G Swathi (36') also contributed goals. Kalita Chayanika (8') scored for Assam.


In the final match of the day, Delhi Hockey defeated Dadra and Nagar Haveli & Daman and Diu Hockey with a score of 2-1. Captain Dipika (5') and Aashna Kamboj (42') scored for Delhi, while Priya (43') was the sole scorer for Dadra and Nagar Haveli & Daman and Diu.
