Exciting Leaks Reveal Features of Upcoming iPhone 17 Models
Anticipation Builds for iPhone 17 Launch
Although the release of the iPhone 17 series in India is still several months away, numerous leaks from Chinese dummy models have heightened excitement surrounding the new devices. The upcoming lineup will include the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max. Notably, the Air model is expected to differ significantly from recent releases, with a remarkable thickness of just 5.5 mm.
Camera Features of the iPhone 17 Pro
The iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max are set to feature an impressive camera system, including a 48-megapixel main lens, a 48-megapixel fusion lens, a 48-megapixel Ultra Wide lens, and a new 48-megapixel Tetaprism Telephoto lens. The Ultra Wide lens will resemble the one introduced with the iPhone 16, while the upgraded Telephoto lens is expected to be a highlight of the camera capabilities.
In addition to the new lenses, Apple is enhancing the Pro models with the ability to record videos in 8K resolution. A dual video recording feature will allow users to capture footage using both the front and rear cameras simultaneously.
To attract photography enthusiasts, Apple plans to incorporate a mechanical aperture, enabling users to manually control the light entering the lens. This feature will allow for greater manipulation of depth of field, ensuring users can achieve their desired shots.
Design Changes and Camera Layout
Recent leaks and dummy models have revealed significant design changes. Instead of the traditional square camera bump, Apple is transitioning to a rectangular design. The camera sensors will be positioned on the left side of the camera bar, while the flash, microphone, and LiDAR sensor will be relocated to the opposite end of the rectangle.
iPhone 17 Air Camera Specifications
Due to its compact design, the iPhone 17 Air will feature a single 48-megapixel Fusion camera. The absence of a telephoto lens is attributed to the device's ultra-thin profile. Rumors indicate that the iPhone 17 Air will measure only 5.5 mm in thickness. The standard iPhone 17 is expected to include a 24-megapixel front camera, while its rear camera setup may mirror that of the iPhone 16, likely featuring a 48-megapixel lens alongside a 12-megapixel Ultra Wide lens.
