Indian Shooters Excel in Women's 25m Pistol Event

In a remarkable display of skill, Indian shooters Esha Singh and Manu Bhaker achieved a stunning double podium finish in the Women's 25m Pistol event at the ISSF World Cup Rifle/Pistol/Shotgun held in Hangzhou, China. Esha secured the gold medal, while Manu clinched the bronze, further enhancing India's impressive performance at the tournament.

Outstanding Final Performance

Esha showcased her prowess in the final, hitting 40 targets to claim the gold. Meanwhile, Manu, a double Olympic medalist for Paris 2024, navigated a fiercely competitive field, winning a critical shoot-off and finishing with 28 hits to earn the bronze, as reported by the National Rifle Association of India (NRAI).

The Indian team set a high standard in the qualification round. Manu topped the qualifiers with an impressive score of 586-20x, followed closely by Esha with 585-18x, both advancing to the final.
