Manchester City has officially announced the appointment of Enzo Maresca as their new manager, succeeding Pep Guardiola starting next season. The club revealed this news on Monday.


Maresca has inked a three-year deal that will keep him at the club until the summer of 2029. This marks his third tenure with Manchester City, bringing a wealth of experience and a successful track record.

The 46-year-old previously served as Pep Guardiola's assistant during the club's historic treble-winning season in 2023. He also managed the Elite Development Squad (EDS), leading them to the Premier League 2 title in the 2020/21 season during his sole year in charge.
