Additional Police Commissioner Rajiv Narayan Mishra reviewed security protocols at popular malls and instructed bar and restaurant operators on safety guidelines. A special campaign against drunk driving is also in effect, lasting three days, with strict measures in place to manage crowd control. These efforts aim to ensure a safe celebration for all residents and visitors.
 

Comprehensive Security Arrangements for New Year

In preparation for the New Year celebrations, the Gautam Buddh Nagar police have implemented extensive security measures across the district, enforcing Section 163 starting Tuesday. Authorities have made it clear that strict action will be taken against gatherings without valid reasons.


Police Review Security Protocols

On Tuesday, Additional Police Commissioner Rajiv Narayan Mishra inspected key areas such as Sector 18, Garden Galleria, and GIP Mall to assess security preparations. During his visit, he provided essential guidelines to bar and restaurant operators.


Deployment of Police Personnel

According to police reports, nearly three thousand officers have been deployed at major malls and crowded locations to ensure safety. Authorities indicated that they would conduct checks on suspicious individuals in these areas.


Special Campaign Against Drunk Driving

A focused campaign against drunk driving is underway, set to last for three days. In cases of overcrowding, mall management has been instructed to close entry points.
