The teams, named Team Brittin and Team Heyhoe-Flint, honor former England cricketers Jan Brittin and Rachael Heyhoe-Flint, both of whom celebrated Women's World Cup victories on home soil.

Team Brittin will be captained by Nat Sciver-Brunt, with Jon Lewis serving as the coach. Charlie Dean will lead Team Heyhoe-Flint, coached by Luke Williams.
